ZAKIAH ABD HALIM received her Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2004 and Master of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of New South Wales in 2006.

To date, she is a Lecturer at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FKM), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. She is also a member of BEM, graduate member of IEM and a member of MSNT. 

​She has passion in Structural Integrity of plant equipment and is a certified Ultrasonic Inspector for steel plate (Level I) and pipe (Level II).
